All About the Animals LA County shelter survey for rescue groups and volunteers

We are undertaking research / seeking feedback on the LA County animal shelters to submit to Supervisor Knabe (following our successful petition to urge an investigation of conditions at the shelters after capturing images of feces filled shelters at Downey shelter, which prompted a motion for a 15 day investigation by Supervisor Don Knabe).

 

THIS SURVEY IS FOR RESCUE GROUPS, VOLUNTEERS, NETWORKERS ONLYYOU CAN OPT TO PROTECT YOUR ANONYMITY.

This survey is intended for animal rescuers, volunteers, and networkers (ie those that frequent the LA County shelters most often).  If you are a member of the general public, please direct your complaint to the LA County Department of Animal Care and Control, and do NOT complete our survey, it will distort the results.

 

WE EQUALLY WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE LA COUNTY SHELTERS - PLEASE COMPLETE THE SURVEY AND PROVIDE YOUR FEEDBACK

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR RELATIVELY RECENT EXAMPLES SO WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS ONLY

 

The survey results will be analyzed, summarized and presented to Supervisor Knabe's office at a meeting arranged for September 3.  Your details will be kept anonymous, unless you give us permission to share your personal information either with the BOS, or the media.

 

Thanks so very much for speaking out in order to improve shelter conditions for the homeless animals of LA County; if we do not stand up for the voiceless, who will?

HOW TO SUBMIT A RESPONSE ANONYMOUSLY:

 

You can either:

1) Select the options within the survey to opt NOT to release your personal information to the Board of Supervisors and/or media; or

2) Type 'anonymous' in the field for your name.
